seated on rectangular plinths with their heads cocked to one side and jaws open, bulging eyes, a knobby forehead surrounded with raised curls, the female with a small cub and the male with a pierced ball.

Condition
Male Figure: the figure has been broken off base and restored back on. There is further restoration to raised front paw, nostrils, lower jaw, one ear, tip of tail and hair curls. The ball is a replacement. There is a fine 2 in. hairline crack to the base. Female figure: the figure has been broken off base and restored back on. The head has been broken off and restored back on. There is restoration to nostrils, lower jaw, one back paw, pup and tail, replacement of some hair curls as well as evident crack from aperture in plinth and firing crack to one paw. Minor restoration to underside of base.
