the flat handles chased with acanthus around shells, the cover with applied cut-card rays on matted ground, bail handle and gadroon border, engraved on body and cover with arms below coronet and above an order

The arms are probably those of Bouche, of Brittany.

discolored on one side of body, presumably from engraving removed, otherwise good
