  • 33.5 to 25.4cm
lobed circular with molded rims, comprising:
two large dishes, each engraved with arms under coronet, no visible maker's marks, 1764
a shallow dish, possibly Edme-Pierre Balzac, 1767
a smaller deep dish, maker's mark not clear, 1760

Provenance

The arms one one of the larger dishes are those of Pelletier, of Toulouse and probably those of Mauroy, of Champagne.

Condition

large dishes with signs of use, one set of arms probably later; 1767 dish possibly later evened out to serve as a tray, otherwise good condition
