both sides with openwork panels chased and engraved with overlapping silver and various colored cloissoné shaded enamel flower blossoms, one side also with a purple and orange butterfly, the handles formed as open-mouthed serpents, the conforming domed cover centered by large applied enamel butterfly, with removable silver liner, underside of base engraved "From H.P.O. 1901"

lacquered, foot a little wobbly, ding to underside of cover but not visible, enamel very good condition, good condition overall
