John Richards, Sea Captain, and thence by descent in the Richard's family to the present owner (by repute and noted in two paper labels on the base)
Condition
There is a 6 inch haircrack running down from the rim. There is another 2 1/2 inch haircrack running down from the rim. Otherwise in good condition.
