- Desk: Height 43 1/2 in. by Width 42 in. by Depth 19 1/2 in.; Chest: Height in. 37 in. by Width 37 in. by Depth 20 in.
composed of a Chippendale Figured Mahogany Slant-Front Desk, Massachusetts, Circa 1780 together with a Chippendale Walnut Chest of Drawers, New England, circa 1780. (2 pieces).
Condition
Desk: Restoration to feet with some replacements; slight warpage to slant front; green leather surface replaces; overall with usual old marks and scratchs.
Chest: Brasses replaced; re-finished; proper front left foot with dowel pin; crack to proper rear right foot; secondary wood is white pine throughout; appears to retain original backboards.
