the engraved brass dial bearing the inscription Reuben Ingraham BOSTON also fitted with seconds register and calendar date indicator. Cresting with repairs and losses to pierced fretwork.
Condition
Appears to retain its original pierced cresting with and with a 2 inch by 2 inch replaced section near center finial;, other section of fretwork of crest appear to be lacking; central finial support appears to be original; brass finials of a later date; ebonized surface refreshed; case refinished; appears to retain original hinges to waste door, lock on door probably replaced; underside of feet appear to retain original white pine blocks; pane to glazed door of hood of a later date; cracks to proper right side molded arch of glazed door; brass capitals on collonettes slightly loose; appears to retain original white pine seat board.
