each piece painted with a scene from 'The Western Chamber', within a patterned border, comprising: a pair of soup tureens, covers and stands, a pair of circular small tureens and covers, a pair of butter tubs, covers and stands, a pair of sauce tureens and stands, two 15-inch circular plates, two 12½-inch circular plates, two 17-inch platters, two 14-inch platters, two 12½-inch platters, four 11-inch circular bowls, two 10-inch circular bowls, fourteen 9-inch circular bowls, fourteen soup plates, fourteen 10-inch plates, twenty-eight dinner plates and fourteen side plates. 120 pieces.

All in good condition with some typical fritting to the rim edges, except: One soup tureen has a 5 in x 3 in V-shaped piece broken out of one side in two pieces and restored back in. One small tureen has a 2 inch crack to one side. One butter tub with cover and stand has a 1/8 in chip under the rim of the cover. The other butter tub with cover and stand has several very small chips under the rim of the cover, a very small chip to the butter tub handle, and a 1 inch hair crack to one side of the butter tub. The stand is in good condition. One sauce tureen stand has a star crack in the center. One 15 inch plate has a 1 1/2 inch hair crack to the rim. The other 15 in plate has been extensively cracked and restored and has a 1/4 inch rim chip. One 11 inch circular bowl has a 1/2 inch rim chip and a 2 inch hair crack to the rim. General note on the 11 inch circular bowls: all have extensive fritting to the glaze on the rims One 9 inch circular bowl has a 1 inch crack to the rim. Another 9 inch circular bowl has a deep 1/2 inch rim chip extending to a 2 inch crack. One soup plate has a L-shaped 4 inch crack to the rim and two 1/4 inch chips under the rim. One soup plate has a 2 inch hair crack to the rim. One soup plate has a 1/4 inch chip on the rim. One 10 inch plate has a 1/2 inch hair crack to the rim. One 10 inch plate has two 1/4 inch chip under the rim. One 10 inch plate has a 1/4 inch chip under the rim. General note on the 10 inch plates: some of these have had the fritting on the rim edges ground smooth. One dinner plate has a 1/2 inch chip to the rim. One dinner plate has two 1/4 inch chips under the rim. Three dinner plates have 1/4 inch chips under the rim. Two dinner plates have 2 1/2 inch hair cracks to the rim. One side plate has a V-shaped deep 1 inch chip to the rim edge, another 1/4 inch chip and 1 inch hair crack.
