Condition

The prints are in good condition except each sheet backed and the margins possibly shaved, the papers toned overall, additional discoloration comprises time stain and surface soiling. Imperfections in the individual prints are as follows: Bachman's Hare: sheet edges particularly dark due to exposure to a wooden frame and most visible at left and right edges, the sheet edges with a few flattened creases, two repaired tears, a nick, small loss at lower left corner, and a vertical pressure mark from the frame along the left. Northern Hare: small paper loss at lower left corner.
