Two hand-colored lithographs, 1845, by J. T. Bowen, on wove paper, framed (2 prints)

Condition

The prints in good condition. A few scattered fox marks within the image and on the verso. Time stain and mat stain along the sheet edges with a few paper losses at the extreme sheet edges. The sheets are backed. Imperfections in the individual prints are as follows: American Bison or Buffalo: There is a repaired tear on the upper right corner and some light soiling in the same corner. American Bison or Buffalo, Female: Slight soiling in the left corner margin.
