Catalogue Note
According to Gorham's records as reproduce by Larry Pristo in Martelé Gorham's Nouveau Art Silver, p. 270, this inkstand is listed as being completed on July 15, 1901 with a making time of sixty hours. The chasing was executed by Job S. (Aspin) Washington and was accomplished in ninety hours. The net factory cost was $90.
