fully marked on underside, rim with lion passant

with applied pierced scroll and grapevine rim and raised on three matching bracket supports, the center engraved with contemporary arms in rococo cartouche flanked by seated Chinese figures, underside with monogram MVP

The arms are probably those of Hall, co. York impaling another.
