Condition
Overall very good original condition. The wood surfaces are in very good condition showing some light surface scratches and edge nicks consistent with age. The top with a few very light areas of discoloration consistent with use. There are some minor age cracks and seam separations to the mid portion of the front two legs and to the sculpted figure to the center of the under stretcher. The front right proper corner with a small loss at the edge, measure approximately ½ inch in length. This console encapsulates the details and craftsmanship of works executed by Robsjohn-Gibbings. James Dolena, mentioned in the provenance, was an architect and worked with Robsjohn-Gibbings on some of most famed interiors, including the Casa Encantada.
