Description
- Line Vautrin
- "Soleil á Pointes" Mirror
- incised LINE VAUTRIN XII
- talosel and mirrored glass
Condition
Overall in very good condition. The talosel surface showing surface dirt minor dryness, and some small separations with the inset glass elements. The glass inserts to the frame with cracks to appximately 20 of the tiles, which is consistent with the mirrors by Vautrin and the aging process of these fragile materials. There is one small piece of glass approximately ½ x ½ inch which has detached from the mirror and has been retained. The central mirror is convex in shape. The reverse of the mirror retains the original fabric backing. The piece is fragile and should be handled with care, but remains in very good original condition.
Due to the materials and fragile nature of this mirror, special handling and/or packing may be required during the shipping process. Please inquire directly with the 20th Century Design or Post Sale Services Departments if you have any questions or require assistance regarding the shipping of this item.
