Condition

Overall in very good condition. The gilt painted frames of the chairs with a few scattered chips, concentrated primarily at the seams of the seat edge and top crest rail. With some light rubbing to the painted surface and scattered surface dirt. The upholstery on these chairs was sensitively reinforced by a professional needlework restorer, and therefore in extremely stable condition, while maintaining all the original qualities of the fabric and age. The original fabric upholstery with some light fading as a result of sun exposure. The upholstery with some very minor fraying to the fabric at the top corners, which is consistent with age and use. Very light surface dirt. An excellent example of this iconic model in stable original condition.
