Condition

Overall in very good condition with some minor areas of prior sensitive restoration. The foot of one chair with areas of restoration to the immediate bottom of the foot showing some wood replacement, infill and staining. With light areas of retaining and infill also from prior restoration concentrated to the legs and the backrail. The upholstery has been replaced and is sensitively executed and with some minor soiling. One area of dark colored soiling to the reverse panel of one chair measuring approximately 2 inches in length. The brass sabots with minor discoloration and shallow surface scratches consistent with age and use. A very elegant chair design.
