Condition

Overall in very good condition. The glass shade and base with some occasional small air bubble inclusions inherent in the making. With some minor surface soiling and residue to the recessed contours of the decoration on the shade and base. The outermost perimeter surfaces of the shade with some minor small abrasions marks from prior surface contact. The top collar of the base standard (1/2 inch below the top aperture) with an abrasion line from surface contact over the years with the bronze shade armature. The top perimeter surface of the base (adjacent to the signature) with a small circular area of surface irregularities (3/4 inch in diameter) which is inherent in the making as a result of the etching process. The period bronze armature with some minor abrasion marks to the arm terminals from surface contact with the shade. With three replaced top sockets which illuminated the shade. A socket is also attached to the bottom of the interior bronze armature in order to illuminate the base standard. This socket (which appears quite old and possibly period) has been slightly damaged and presently not functioning. (This lower socket could be easily replaced if desired.) A fine example of the model, displaying strong vibrant color and well defined decoration. The lamp presents beautifully in person, with impressive scale and an elegant silhouette.
