Condition

Overall in very good condition consistent with age and use. The tray shown with the piece in the auction catalogue is not by Karasz, but produced later by the firm of Paye and Baker. Each of the pieces in the service with some light surface scratches and areas of tarnish. With some rubbing to the finish of the handles consistent with use. The interiors of tea and coffee pots with some minor interior residue. The top surface of the tray with scratches from the other elements. A very good condition example of this rare set.
