Condition
Overall in very good condition. A well matched set of shades displaying strong color and iridescence. One shade with two very small (1/8 inch) surface flacks to the bottom aperture (which is not visible when the shade is installed in the base). The base is in very good condition showing very minimal rubbing consistent with age and gentle use, and what appears to be one small ink stain (3/16 of an inch) to the top of the cushion base. A few of the shade ring supports on the base sit very slightly askew. The base displays an exceptionally rich russet brown and green patina and the foliate decoration is finely articulated. All of the threaded screw terminals which support the favrile glass shades are intact, as well as the original sockets and base switch. A superb example of this rare candelabrum design.
