Overall in very good condition. With two rods at the corners which are slightly bent, which is evident in the catalogue illustration. Otherwise the rods are in very good condition, showing very minor discoloration from the natural aging process of the material. The brass base with an area of circular oxidation, which show green in color. This area is visible in the catalogue illustration, and has an adjacent brown discoloration. This area of discoloration measure 2 x 3 inches and has some minor adjacent drop–like shaped discoloration which extend into the area of the base where the rods are attached. The discolorations in this area are mostly obstructed by the rods. A very good example of the form with excellent color and patintation to the vertical rods combined a nice tone when played.
