Description

- Three-Light Ceiling Fixture
enameled metal and brass
Literature
Pierre Émile Pralus, Serge Mouille: A French Classic, Paris, 2006, p. 195
Condition
Overall excellent original condition. With some light surface scratches consistent with age and use. The white painted interior of the shades with some light discoloration also from age and use. With original sockets fitted for bayonet bulbs. One the brass screws along the standard is missing, however the arm is stable without the hardware. All the rest of the original brass hardware to the shades and standards is in tact. The top of the fixture is a flat round mounting plate where the three standards terminate. This is the earlier version of the mounting plate, that was later changed to a domed ceiling cap, to accommodate the wiring. Please visit the online catalogue at sothebys.com or contact the department for a photograph showing the full ceiling mount.
