Description
- matrice : 125 x 125 cm ; raie : 58 cm
- 49,2 x 49,2 in (matrix) ; 22,8 in (skate)
The delicate fossilization displays the ray's radian cartilages, which appear like a sun in the horizon, against a large mold with a frame capable to be hung on a wall. Heliobatis radians seem to swim in company with other fishes, which are 13cm Priscacara serata 16cm Diplomystus and 10cm Knightia eoceana.
No restoration needed, the fossil ray is of remarkable quality and size, and finally, the general piece creates an incomparable visual effect (very nice quality).

Condition
Stone panel as big as a painting where the central character is a sun ray fossil whose skeleton is deployed as a solar star. This specimen as the other fishes visible around show the very good fossilization of classic fossil site in Wyoming. No restoration. Beautiful view of fish, the sun ray is well centred. Very attractive piece and very good condition.
