of barrel form with wriggle-work band near rim, raised on three fruit-cluster feet headed by sprays of fruit, with matching thumbpiece and handle partly-chased with strapwork, the flat cover inset with a medallion dated 1695 surrounded by scrolling foliage inhabited with birds, base engraved with monogram F.L.W. and date 1777
