rectangular with rounded corners, chased with foliage and strapwork, central oval reserve mounted with diamond-set crowned A, the base engraved with the crowned arms of Savoy within laurel branches

Condition

good condition, holes in flange and gold frame in cover suggesting later fitted as a compact, one lower corner slightly crushed, otherwise crisp
