oval, the applied rim with lobes alternating with bellflowers and with anthemion and double-shells flanked by acanthus at intervals, the surface engraved with contemporary crest and fitted with three cut-glass bottles with conforming silver covers including an inkwell, sander and taperstick, all raised on four bracket feet chased with double-shells flanked by acanthus and grapevine

underside of stand lacking two silver nuts, one bottle with 1/3 of rim chipped off but is covered by silver cover
