  • fully marked on dishes and covers, finials with lion passant and duty marks, all numbered 1, 2

rectangular with lobed sides, the shaped rims cast and applied with shells and double shells spaced by scrolling acanthus, covers engraved on both sides with a helmet crest on a foliate mantle under a camel crest, the dishes engraved on two interior sides with matching camel crest under motto, covers with slip-lock leaf-capped twisted- branch finials terminating in oak leaves and acorns

The arms are those of Ridgeway impaling probably Wyatt.

Condition

a little wear to maker's marks, interiors with light scratches from use, both dishes with some dings near corners but not through, a little wear to high spots of rims, otherwise good condition
