comprising two armchairs and four side chairs.  each armchair with arched cresting rail inlaid with Vitruvian scroll border above an upholstered trapezoidal backrest flanked by circular fluted stiles continuing to padded armrests with scrolled terminals on downswept supports flanking an over-upholstered bow-fronted seats above a conforming apron inlaid with Vitruvian scroll borders raised on circular stop-fluted tapering legs headed by gadrooned collars and ending in casters.  The underside of each seat rail stamed JACKSON & GRAHAM / LONDON.

Condition

Overall very good condition; one armchair with small loss to leaf tip of finial to right stile; back right leg with long thin strip of ebony veneer lacking approximately 5 inches in length; right armrest with very slight separation at join with backrest; front left corner block with chip to veneer; front right corner block with thin loss to veneer approximately 2 inches in length; the gadrooned collars lacking three ivory pieces. The other armchair lacking three ivory pieces to the gadrooned collars; back legs each with a thin long strip of veneer lacking. The side chairs in very good condition with minor age cracks to some veneers and with small chips and nicks to corners with some inpainting. Overall with some scattered chips and small losses to veneers; chairs stable.
