each guilloche-carved oval backrest with wheat-sheaf pierced splat surmounted by a ribbon bow flanked by pendant husks and endtere by a circuar wheel, the serpentine-fronted over-upholstered seat raised on molded sabre legs. Comprising one armchair and four side chairs. Restorations.

Overall fair condition; beautiful color and surface; usual scratches, scuffs and bruises and minor old worm damage to rails.
Chair I with old repaired breaks at joins backrest and cresting rail.
Chair II with old repaired breaks at joins of with cresting rail and backrest and backrest with the stiles; front and side rails replaced; back rail reinforced.
Chair III with old repaired breaks to sides of backrest at joins with cresting rail.
Chair IV with old lap-repairs to sides of backrest at joins with cresting rail; front and side rails replaced.
Armchair with old lap-repairs to sides of backrest at joins with cresting rail; small chip to back left corner of shoe.
