each arched cresting rail centered by a flower-head patera flanked by pendant husks above a pierced foliate-carved splat above a drop-in seat riased on molded square legs joined by and H stretcher. Together with a pair of later matching armchairs. 8 pieces.
Condition
Armchairs later copies; re-finished; restorations.
Chair I with old repaired break to cresting rail at join with right stile.
Chair III with old repaired breaks to cresting at join with stiles
Chair IIII with old repaired breaks to cresting rail at join with stiles and with replaced sections to front; patch to back of shoe at join with splat
Chair VI with old repair breaks and plugs to cresting rail at join with stiles.
Chair VII with old repaired breaks to cresting rail at join with splat and with right stile; repaired breaks to splat; stretchers possibly replaced
Chair with attached seat with old repaired breaks to cresting rail at joins with stiles and splat.
Overall with some old marks, scratches and scuffs; splats possibly replaced.
