each arched cresting rail centered by a ribbon flanked by fruiting laurel sprays above downswept armrests ending in acanthus-carved scrolled terminals above molded S-scrolled supports flanking a serpentine-fronted over-upholstered seat above a conforming apron carved with fruiting laurel sprays and raised on stiff-leaf carved fluted circular tapering legs ending in toupee feet.

Condition

Re-gilt, overall good condition; the seats with springing and with later corner; blocks; rails appear to be sturdy; the back rails with glue-cramps (part of construction); some small chips and losses to gilding at extremities in places.
