the cross-banded rectangular top with rounded corners and fitted with a gilt-tooled black leather-inset writing surface and with reeded edges above a conforming frieze fitted with three drawers to each long side fitted with Bramah locks and raised on circular turned tapering legs headed by reeded collars and ending in casters.  The lock plates stamped J. BRAMAH.

Condition

Overall good condition; the leather lined top with usual scratches and scuff and replaced; the cross-banded edges with some age cracks and bruises; nicks, chips and wear to reeded edge with some small losses to ebonized surface; the drawers in good condition; appears to retain original handles; overall with small nicks and chips to ebonized surface and with nicks, wear, bruises and scratches to legs and frieze; nice color to mahogany.
