the circular crossbanded top with conforming frieze tilting above a turned baluster standard raised on downswept legs ending in foliate-caste ormolu toes on casters.

Condition

Overall good condition; now with a glossy surface; some small losses to crossbanded veneers of edge of top and frieze and to underside of frieze with some small replacements and restorations; overall with some old marks, scratches, nicks and bruises; ormolu foliate cast feet retaining original gilding and with some wear, rubbing and some minor losses to gilding; stem grain-painted to simulate rosewood.
