Description

of typical form, the S-scrolled armrests above pierced wheat-sheaf form foliate carved splats above a shoes with gadrooned collars, the over-upholstered serpentine-form seat raised on an acanthus-carved cabriole leg wit diaper ground to the front and circular tapering legs to the sides and back joined by a turned X-form stretcher.

Condition

Overall good condition; with a slightly glossy finish; some slight age cracks to cresting rail following grain; two small age cracks to top of right splat and old repaired break to bottom right part of splat; scuffs and wear to the foot of the cabriole leg; overall with some old marks and scratches, nicks and wear consistent with age.
