Catalogue Note
This harp signed Obermayer was made at the Horngacher workshop. The atelier was founded by Joseph Obermayer in 1928 and was transferred to Maximilian Horngacher in the 1960s. As this harp is inscribed by Obermayer, it is most likely to have been executed in the second quarter of the 20th century, after one the workshop's more ornate and popular designs.
