• nickel lever movement, 35 jewels, minute repeating on two gongs, 18k gold cuvette • white enamel dial, Roman numerals, Louis XV-style hands, subsidiary dials for date, seconds combined with aperture for moon-phases, day and aperture for month in French • heavy case, the front with applied monogram • case numbered and stamped with maker's mark JL, cuvette numbered and signed by retailer I. Marx Fils, 48 Blvd Sebastopol, Paris
Condition
The movement is currently not engaging or repeating and will require service, the movement is fully wound and the balance is not rotating. The case shows some scuffs throughout from wear and is quite heavy. The case and cuvette are numbered 7465. There are no visible imperfections to the dial.
