The rectangular curved case decorated with royal blue enamel, each side pierced and millegrain-set with calibré-cut synthetic sapphires and highlighted with rose diamonds, opening to reveal a compartment and vesta case, measuring approximately 93mm x 47mm x 8mm, signed Van Cleef & Arpels, Paris and numbered, French assay and indistinct maker's marks.

Condition

Stamped with French assay marks for 18 carat gold. Numbered N24448 to inside edge of case near maker's signature, numbered 3408 to hinged keeper. One millegrain detailed terminal split in one place. Very delicate. Rose diamonds bright and lively, one possibly deficient from upper left hand side. Enamel with slight scratches. Weighing approximately 105 grams. Secure closure. In good condition.
