Description

Of cylindrical form decorated with black and white enamel with palmette motifs, opening to reveal three compartments, for cigarettes, a vesta and a mirrored make-up compartment, measuring approximately 94mm x 40mm x 30mm, signed Cartier, Paris, France and Cartier, Paris, Londres, New York, French assay, maker's marks and import marks for London, accompanied by feather puff.

Condition

Stamped with French assay marks and British import marks for London and 18 carat gold. Scratches to enamel on underside, losses and chips to enamel. Mirror discoloured and with loss to silvering to underside. Small feather puff to inside of mirrored compartment. Good closure. Weighing approximately 180 grams. In overall good condition.
