The rectangular case decorated with white enamel, applied to the exterior with a stylised tree motif highlighted with rose diamonds, the similarly set thumb piece opening to reveal a single compartment and vesta case to one end, measuring approximately 92mm x 44mm x 8mm, signed Cartier, Paris and numbered French assay and Austrian import marks.

Condition

Stamped with French assay and Austrian import marks for 18 carat gold. Signed Cartier Paris and numbered 1832. White enamel scratched and loss in places, repairs visible to naked eye. Diamonds bright and lively. Opens and closes comfortably. Scratches to mount consistent with age and wear.
