Description

Comprising: a necklace composed of oval sapphires and brilliant-cut diamonds, centring on a cluster suspending three articulated lines of brilliant-cut diamonds and pear-shaped sapphires, length approximately 410mm; a brooch of similar design, set with pear-shaped and marquise-shaped, sapphires and brilliant-cut diamonds; a ring of matching design, size P; and a pair of cluster earrings similarly-set, clip fittings, case, part illustrated.
Condition
Necklace stamped 750 for 18 carat gold. Maker's mark probably Italian for Alessandria. Sapphires dark blue, generally well matched in colour, some of slightly lower or stronger saturations, showing typical inclusions visible to naked eye and under magnification. Estimated total diamond weight approximately 29.00 - 30.00 carats, estimated colour G/I, estimated clarity I on average. Brooch with secure safety catch. Ear clip fittings secure. Necklace with safety catch to side of clasp. Scratches to mounts consistent with wear. In very good condition.
