Set to the centre with an oval ruby flanked by triangular diamond shoulders, size L.
Condition
Rubies of Burmese origin cannot be imported into the US. This piece contains a ruby of Burmese origin and therefore will not be able to be imported into the US. Certification of non-Burmese origin will be required before import of rubies into the US. Please see our Important Notices and contact the jewellery department for further information.
Accompanied by Laboratoire Français de Gemmologie report no. 182830, stating that the ruby has an origin opinion of Myanmar, Burma and indications of thermal enhancement, with moderate evidence of glassy residues.
Ruby measuring 13.6 x 10.4 x 4.6 mm, calculated to weigh approximately 5.47 carats, medium slightly purplish red, typical inclusions, fingerprints and needles visible to naked eye and under magnification. Diamonds of yellowish tint. Light scratches to mount consistent with wear. In good condition.
