Description
- gold, diamond and sapphire
Centring an oval sapphire weighing approximately 13.20 carats between shoulders set with triangular diamonds, assay and maker's marks, size M.
Condition
Accompanied by Laboratoire Français de Gemmologie report no. 182829, stating that the sapphire is natural, with indications of thermal enhancement and an origin opinion of Sri Lanka.
Stamped with French marks for 18 carat gold. Sapphire measuring approximately 16.15 x 12.8 x 7.6mm, calculated to weigh approximately 13.48 carats, medium blue, typical inclusions, fingerprints, feathers, visible under magnification, nicks to girdle edge. Diamonds estimated colour I/J, estimated clarity VS, strong fluorescence. Light scratches to band consistent with wear. In good condition.
