The brooch centring on a cushion-shaped synthetic sapphire within a foliate frame of cushion-shaped, circular-cut and rose diamonds; the ring collet-set with a step-cut sapphire between shoulders set with circular-cut diamonds, size K.
Condition
Ring: sapphire measuring approximately 11.3 x 9.8 x 7.3mm, calculated to weigh approximately 7.44 carats, stone slightly loose in mount, typical inclusions visible to naked eye and under magnification, one side diamond could benefit from attention by a professional jeweller as it is depressed in the setting. Central jewel detachable with sliding catch to one side, this could be worn as pendant if threaded with fine link chain, jewel probably originally formed centre of brooch which has since been replaced with a synthetic sapphire.
Brooch: Diamonds weighing approximately 5.00 - 6.00 carats, stones bright and lively. Scratches to mount consistent with age and wear. In good condition.
