Composed of four micromosaic disks spelling out ROMA/ AMOR, connected with foxtail linking, highlighted with barrel-shaped gold, length approximately 190mm, signed CC.

Literature

Cf: Ed. Susan Weber Soros & Stefanie Walker, Castellani and Italian Archaeological Jewelry, USA, 2004 page 58 for an illustration of a similar ROMA micromosaic bracelet.  These are listed in annotated inventories from circa 1862 as being sold for a modest 16 scudi.

Condition

Signed CC for Castellani. Micromosaic in very good condition. Flexible. Light scratches to mount consistent with wear. Loose catch. In good condition.
