Description
- pearl, diamond and ruby, silver and gold
Designed as a butterfly, the wings pierced and accented with oval rubies, circular-cut and rose diamonds, the body composed of a button-shaped natural pearl and a drop-shaped cultured pearl, later pin fitting, French assay marks.
Condition
Accompanied by a report from The Gem & Pearl Laboratory no.04739, stating that the button-shaped pearl was found to be natural, saltwater and a verbal stating that the drop-shaped pearl is probably cultured.
Mounted in silver and gold. French assay marks to edge of frame for 18 carat gold. Several traces of lead solder to reverse, slightly visible to front in places. To be tested.
