Sapphire and diamond necklace

Designed as a line of marquise-shaped and brilliant-cut diamonds, length approximately 415mm, inscribed Cartier, together with a pear-shaped sapphire pendant.

Necklace: Inscribed Cartier Paris to clasp. Diamonds estimated to weigh approximately 28.00-30.00 carats. Marquise diamond to the clasp measuring approximately 9.4 x 6.1x 3.65 mm, calculated to weigh approximately 1.40 carats, estimated colour G/H, estimated clarity I. Flexible and well articulated. Secure clasp. Pendant: Sapphire pendant accompanies this lot, unsigned, does not appear to be original to the piece. Sapphire dark slightly violetish blue, typical inclusions such as fingerprints visible under magnification. Pendent loop with secure clasp. Both items in good condition.
