Condition

The colour of this panel is crisper, more defined and more attractive in reality. It is comprised of two joined linen ground panels, with a vertical join 65.5cm. in from the left side. The join is opening up in small lengths, visible in the photograph as dark vertical line. The wool embroidery is worked over the join. Needs some attention. There are some minor losses of embroidery in areas and areas of repair. There are some small holes to the ground, only noticeable on close inspection. This is a highly decorative panel, beautifully worked. Versatile size and in generally good overall condition. It is mounted onto a wooden stretcher.
