Colours in reality are more defined and lively against an attractive creamy/ivory coloured ground. Generally even 4mm pile overall, with some areas down to knot-bars, for example to the right end of the rug, to the far flowering sprig motif, in small areas of the roundels and border. Some areas lower within the ivory main field, which are visible in the photograph as the grey areas. Small scattered areas of reweave and repair, for example small rectangular reweave in roundel on left side. Re-overcast sides. Overlocked fringes at both ends. Gauze lining. Flexible handle.
