Condition

Colours more vibrant blue in reality and more defined. Pile generally fair and down to foundation in areas. Overlocked cotton fringes (along top and bottom edges in photograph), with original overcast sides. Areas of lower pile which are visible in the photograph as the white areas, for example near motifs in top right corner, second row down. Sections in centre of lower pile have been reinforced with rectangular shaped strips behind. Other small spot areas of reweave, example two in lower right corner of border. Small scattered repairs. Some tinting to the blue areas. Gauze lining. Flexible handle.
