Condition

Slightly shaped: 270 by 280. Generally fair 3mm pile, down to knot bars in areas. Woven as a circular rug. Overcast edges. Later section to edge, visible as different colour of blue, and a small section using brown. Areas of reweave which are visible in the photograph as the yellow areas in the photograph, and they have higher pile. Some small sections of the blue geometric framework are in brown. Other small spot areas of reweave. Small scattered repairs and small areas of low pile and weakness to foundation with warps showing, with hessian support on reverse in some of these areas, but not all. Some of these small areas, generally in the ivory areas of the ground need repair. Unusual format, reweaves could possibly be dyed to better blend in future.
