Condition

With general 5-6mm pile, worn down to foundation in places, for example worn ivory areas, and down to knot-bars in other areas, especialy to the green of the central medallion. There are some repaired splits in the lower left quadrant of carpet, and others within the centre (lower right corner of top left quadrant), which are not straight, two are vertical, approx. 8cm. and 19cm. long, and two are approx. 19cm. and 10cm. Within the same section of the top left quadrant, there is a cross-shaped patch in the ivory ground (approx. 5 by 9cm), and rectangular patch in the green ground (approx. 4 by 4cm). There is a small hole (approx. 3.5cm. by 2cm) in the lower left corner of the top right quadrant. Original side cords and original overcast ends. Fringes at both ends, vary in length. Good design and attractive colouring. In need of some attention.
